8 Months in Germany and still recalibrating

Now i have been 8 months already,
living in the german lowlands and adapting to a slower life.

i will go to visit hongkong next week and stay there for around 17 days,
got a lot of business to do, so i will report when i am back in germany after that.

Today was a public holiday,
so we took the packed bag and bagpacked
ourselves up the dragon`s back mountain to
hike to Sheko - the only surfers beach in hong kong.

it's a small small town afterall

On the right side you can see my Hometown in Germany. It is a small place with around 23.551 citizen living there. If you are living in a distracted City like Hong Kong, it makes you feel very strange when you look at the webcam of this town. I found it looks like a very small miniature town so i used some lens blur to make it look even smaller. i hope you like the result beside. I also created a mini version of Hong Kong Kowloon, the residence where i am living at the moment. This method is called "Fake Tilt Shift".

So i again went to the Guitar Factory and spotted some nice new Guitars there. They had some promotion going on for "Walk the Line". Whats not going to be produced in China is something i yet have to discover.

Changzhou Guitar Factory

This weekend i was near Shanghai for another E-Guitar inspektion. I have to say Changzhou is a nice little city, with a very large and clean shopping area.

Chinese BBQ at Michelle´s Place

we had a nice sunny sunday bbq at michelle´s place in tuen mun. what better
day there is to start into the new chinese year than sitting on a rooftop and having some nice bbq.

Inspection at Changzhou Guitar and Violin Factory, Northern China.

Last 5 days i have been busy doing an inspection of electrical and acoustical guitar factorys. also inspected violin and faced the cold winter of northern parts of china in changzhou near shanghai.



All these products are handmade and carefully are worked out by skilled, but probably underpayed workers.

yesterday i have been seeing the fireworks here in TST, near
Star Ferry Port. Crowded of course, and the Viewpoint was suboptimal
but have a look at the Crackling Spectacular.

recently i was on a business trip to shanghai and tinjian. it was very exhausting, but also very enjoyable to see the skyline. altough i prolly could only see it for about 10 minutes until we continued our trip to far east factorys somewhere, in the middle of nowhere in china.

so yes, the month is over and i will post some videoflicks lateron this weekend

S o m m e r p a u s e

Die letzen 6 Wochen war ich in Europa unterwegs.
Per Caravan, Schiff, Flugzeug, Zug und per Automobil.

Das gesehene werte ich gerade aus und werde es dann demnächst online
stellen. Ferner gibts nun monatlich einen Video Roundabout Hong Kong.
Aber mostly uncommented. Daher bin ich dann eher auf eure Comments gespannt.
Teil 1 kommt sehr bald. Stay tuned!

Party im Wanch, Hongkong. Dort wo die Langmadden abrocken!

Meine erste Maywanderung in Hongkong. Zusammen mit Freunden gings
nach Sai Kung. An sich einer der schönsten Orte Hongkong... wenns nicht regnet..


es geht hoch hinaus... der Regen zog mit...



Leider spielt das Wetter nicht so wirklich mit, aber zum Strand wollten wir dennoch.



endlich angekommen, es gießt in Strömen, ausserdem zogen 3 Gewitter
ran... aber wir harrten aus...



irgendwie wollten wir uns den Spaß nicht verderben lassen
Mein Kumpel Michael auch nicht.. lustig, so eine Maiwanderung....

doch dann zuletzt hatte ich doch genug und wir zogen wieder zurück, um uns dann beim Pizzahut irgendwo in Ost Kowloon aufzuwärmen.
